Huawei E8278 4G Modem is a 150Mpbs Cat4 WiFi Dongle, it can use as a USB modem or WiFi router. It supports 4G LTE FDD and TDD network at 20MHz. The maximum download speed could reach 150mbps and upload speed up to 50mbps under 4G FDD network, with TDD network, the downlink and uplink speeds are 112Mbps and 10Mbps.

Huawei E8278 Connection Scenarios:
One: USB modem
When connected to a computer E8278 can act as a modem, using the USB data connection. Simultaneously E8278 can continue to operate as an access point Wi-Fi.

Two: Access point Wi-Fi(WiFi Router)
E8278 can operate as an access point Wi-Fi. In this case, the USB port is used for juice, for example, through the car adapter, external battery or computer. At the same time, you can connect up to 10 devices.

There is a MicroSD card slot comes with Huawei E8278 LTE Wingle, the extended card capacity could reach 32GB. So through WiFi connection, E8278 provides shared access to files, videos, music songs, etc. on a memory card inserted in E8278, basically providing a shared local drive.
